Jerzy Zajadło

Prof. dr hab., lawyer and philosopher, professor at the Department of Theory and Philosophy of State and Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk. Corresponding member of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, scholarship holder of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, winner of the Jan Heweliusz Scientific Award of the City of Gdańsk, author and editor of scientific publications in the field of law, in particular those concerning contemporary German philosophy of law, the methodological status of philosophy of law and the philosophy of international law. Winner of numerous awards, including: the Tadeusz Kotarbiński Award, awarded for the book „Minima luridica. Reflections on certain legal (in)obviousnesses” (Arche, Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego, 2019) in the category of outstanding scientific work in the field of humanities.
