Who is this book primarily intended for?
This book, MON 1, addresses the following topics: the essence and importance of sustainable development; consumers and consumer trends in the context of sustainable development; sustainable organizations and systemic and model solutions supporting sustainable development; Life Cycle Assessment, carbon footprint, and environmental costing.
The second book, MON 2, will cover the following topics: the development of value management concepts – from owners to society; metrics for measuring enterprise value for various stakeholder groups; and methods of measuring ESG. Environmental indicators, social indicators, management indicators, integrated ESG measurement tools (Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainable Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) framework); as well as selected strategies for creating sustainable value. The last book (MON 3) will adopt the following content structure: court restructuring and the bankruptcy and liquidation process – economic analysis of law, definitions, review of law and literature, premises for corporate restructuring – business versus legal; early warning systems for bankruptcy risk in times when forecasts give way to scenarios, and an analysis of whether they can still be used. An example of a sectoral application – a case study; scale and significance, statistics and structure, as well as implications for business practice.
