Head of the Department of Film and Media at the Institute of Cultural Research at the Faculty of Philology, University of Gdańsk. Doctor of Humanities, historian and film expert, since 2007 he has been scientifically involved in the history of Polish cinematography, with particular emphasis on the times of the Polish People’s Republic. Author of several dozen scientific and popular science texts in the field of film history, fascinated by the works of Krzysztof Kieślowski and Wojciech Smarzowski, lecturer at the Polish Film Academy, regular collaborator of New Horizons of Film Education.
