Professor of physical sciences, head of the Department of Biomaterials and Medical Physics at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science of the University of Gdańsk. Author and co-author of over 130 scientific papers published in international journals. His research interests are interdisciplinary – include molecular physics and biophysics, organic and hybrid optical materials, biomaterials, as well as applications of physical methods in forensics and medical physics.
One of his passions is poetry. In 2025, the University of Gdańsk Publishing House published his debut volume entitled Notes from Oblivion.
