Assistant Professor of Film and Media at the University of Gdańsk and Director of the Andrzej Wajda Film Centre of the University of Gdańsk. Author of the book „Cinematographer about himself. Self-referentiality in Polish feature film”. In the years 2012-2019 he was involved in film education at the Żak Club. Speaker of the Polish Film Academy. One of the originators and editors of the online program about cinema „TV Amateurs”. Regular contributor to the magazine „Screens”. Co-editor of the book „Orson Welles. Creativity – reception – heritage”. He publishes, among others, in „Kwartalnik Filmowy”, „Studia Filmoznawcze”, „Panoptikum”, the website Edukacjafilmowa.pl and in collective volumes. Member of the Polish Society for Film and Media Research.
