Historian, PhD, professor emeritus at the University of Gdańsk. In the years 2008–2012 she served as director of the Institute of History of the University of Gdańsk, in the years 2016–2020 vice-dean for science at the Faculty of History of the University of Gdańsk. Specialist in the field of history teaching and the history of the Middle Ages, mainly the history of the Czech Republic, as well as socio-religious movements in Central and Eastern Europe.
