Doctor of Economics, graduate of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk and the Academy of Physical Education and Sport in Gdańsk, scholarship holder of the University of Agder in Kristiansand, Norway, since 1999 member of the Polish Section of the Regional Studies Association. He completed a course for European project managers at the Pomeranian Development Agency. He collaborated with the WSB University in Gdańsk, the University of Administration and Business in Gdynia and the Gdańsk University of Technology. He has participated in numerous national and international scientific conferences. Author and co-author of nearly 60 scientific publications (including monographs) in Polish and foreign publishing houses.
