From the very beginnings of the University of Gda\u0144sk, its motto has been In mari via tua<\/em>. It bears witness to one of the unique qualities of our university when it was first established. Today the Programme of the European University of the Seas SEA EU is also one of the measures of our uniqueness. It brings together in a unique way the University of Gda\u0144sk and eight universities in Croatia, France, Spain, Malta, Germany, Norway, Portugal, and Italy. Images of the cities where our partner universities are located enchant us with their impressionist form and exceptional plasticity. Besides their high artistic value, these pictures make visible to us all how many interests besides their academic and scientific specializations are followed by those who work at the University. This makes our University an exceptional place. It happens that those passions in some fortunate circumstances involve the University, and art becomes a form of dialogue or an ac – count of how we respond to and see the tasks we accomplish in our professional work. From this combination, quite unexpected projects can come about, surprising in their effects, in their many dimensions, and in their beauty. This is the case with SEA EU by the Sea by Aneta Oniszczuk-Jastrz\u0105bek.<\/p>\n
